What Our Optometrists Say:
In private practice, it can sometimes feel like you're not doing anything special since patients can easily go to another clinic for the same experience. However, in a correctional setting, the patients are genuinely appreciative of the help you provide because they don't have many people willing to assist them. This appreciation is what keeps many of our optometrists coming back day after day, year after year. The gratitude expressed in this setting is often greater than what is seen in private practice, and this is also true for community health work.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree - Valid optometry license - Strong desire to make a positive impact on underserved populations
How to Apply:
If you are passionate about providing high-quality eye care and are ready for a rewarding challenge, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in this position.
