Can you tell me a little about the culture of the company – and any differentiators that may help us in attracting high quality candidates when we are searching? Every clinic has a different personality and is run through an Office Manager. We are there to support but not dictate how our providers practice medicine as long as they are compliant and providing quality care and customer service.
What type of patients will the Optometrist be seeing? A mix of Vision/Medical and post ops
How many patients per year? Month? Week? Hour? Templated for 25-35 per day
What type of technician/scribe support will the Optometrist have initially and when he/she gets up to speed? Typically 2 techs and a scribe, depending on volume
What is the call schedule? For your patient’s only, typically rotated in a practice that has more than one provider.
