Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join a well-established, multi-location practice in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area!

Opportunity Highlights

• Retina group of 5 fellowship trained surgeons.
• Very busy retina-only practice with large, built-in referral base from 4 other multispecialty ophthalmology groups
• Access to 2 other large, multispecialty groups in the market for referrals. 
• Ownership of an ASC. 
• Average Patients per Day: 40-55
• Six cases per week. 
• Call: 1 week, every 6 weeks; Monday to Monday
• Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Partnership track opportunity
• Top percentile market compensation (NO STATE INCOME TAX!)

Reason for Job Opening: Replacement, recent physician did not meet hospital credentialing requirements.

Experience Requirement: New grad or Experienced MD

Partnership Opportunity: Yes, after year 1.

Target Compensation: $700k - $1 Million plus

Bonus Opportunity: NPC + Individual productivity bonus

Other Benefits: 100% employer paid medical insurance premiums is the flagship.  

Relocation: Yes

Vacation/PTO: 20 days + 5 for CME

Target Start Date: ASAP

Practice Management: NextGen but EMR is ModMed.

Support Staff:  Scribe + Tech and increases w/ volume.

Hospital Call: Yes

OD Network:  Heavy internal referrals 

ASC: Company Owned

• Comprise of nearly 70% of the ophthalmology market in Las Vegas, which provides a heavy infrastructure for internal referrals.
• This is a turnkey position with immediate volume.  
• Aggressive with payors to obtain favorable contracts, meaning providers are paid very well.
