We are seeking a Team Leader to join our global development team! Work with cutting-edge technologies to build microservices-based distributed cloud systems and migrate legacy systems to modern architecture.
Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee an R&D team of 4-5 engineers, reporting to the R&D manager. - Build and develop the team through coaching and mentoring. - Direct design, development, and quality for a large-scale platform, focusing on performance, resilience, and scalability. - Own a segment of the product’s functional and technical vision and roadmap. - Establish technical guidelines and promote best practices (CI/CD, monitoring, security). - Drive innovation in R&D by incubating and supporting new ideas. - Collaborate closely with Product Management, DevOps, DBAs, and IT to make key decisions. - Work effectively with multi-geo teams, ensuring clear communication and visibility. - Act as the primary technical escalation point for the team. - Stay hands-on with 20% of your time dedicated to feature development, bug fixes, POCs, technology research, and code reviews.
Requirements: - 5+ years of software development experience. - 2+ years of experience leading R&D teams of 4 or more (or experience as a Scrum Master). - Extensive experience in developing 24x7, mission-critical cloud services (preferably Microsoft Azure). - Proficient in C#, SQL, Redis, and messaging systems. - Strong understanding of development best practices and architecture (SOLID, Clean Code, low latency, high availability). - Full stack experience (Angular, NodeJS) is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD). - Results-oriented, proactive problem solver with a flexible mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to senior management. - Fluent in English.
