Systems Engineer

Lead the engineering definition and architecture of the company’s systems, bridging between various development disciplines while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and performance targets.

This role requires a broad system-level perspective among hands-on engineering involvement, and is suited for an experienced candidate who can work across disciplines and lead complex engineering processes in a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and architecture for company systems
• Lead engineering decisions and perform trade-offs across multiple disciplines
• Hands-on engineering involvement with development teams and support of implemented solutions
• Coordinate and integrate across electronics, software, mechanics, and algorithms teams
• Technical management of system-level subcontractors
• Write system requirements and architecture documents
• Develop test plans and validation documents
• Support system integration and testing processes
• Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks
• Troubleshoot complex system issues throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering for complex systems 
• Practical Engineer (Engineering Technician) or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering 
• 5+ years of experience in design and editing of electronic boards – significant advantage
• Experience working with multidisciplinary systems (electronics, software, mechanics, and optics) – significant advantage
• Experience in defense projects / harsh environment systems – significant advantage
• Ability to define and write system requirements and architecture
• Experience in system integration and testing processes
• Ability to work in a multi-interface environment
• High level of English proficiency (written and verbal)
