Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving our company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, installing hardware and software, and providing efficient and professional technical assistance to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage and maintain network systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewalls.
Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT services.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
Provide user support and training on IT tools and best practices.
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, GDPR, and other data protection regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven hands-on experience in IT support or system/network administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with networking protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
