Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Specialist R&R Reporting to support the Resource & Reserve (R&R) Reporting process. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. This role involves working closely with Competent Persons (CPs), Mineral Resource Managers, and Technical Managers to ensure accurate and efficient R&R reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading mining operation’s resource management and play a critical role in maintaining best practices in R&R reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Compile, validate, and consolidate R&R data and reports.
• Assist in preparing annual R&R statements and publications.
• Manage documentation related to Competent Persons (CP) appointments.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support and provide guidance to CPs on R&R reporting best practices.
• Coordinate and monitor internal and external audits of Resources and Reserves.
• Oversee the transition and implementation of R&R software (R3 Sentinel).
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for R&R reporting systems.
• Monitor and review public statements related to Exploration and R&R reporting.
• Assist in the development and updates of reporting guidelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with SAMREC, JORC, and JSE listing requirements.
• Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in R&R Reporting.
• Strong understanding of SAMREC, JORC, and JSE listing rules.
•  Proficiency in R&R reporting software (R3, Sentinel).
•  Experience in audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
•  Knowledge of resource estimation methods.
•  Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
