Job Description:

Our client, a leading FMCG group with operations in Zambia, renowned for its diverse portfolio of high-quality consumer products, is seeking an experienced Marketing Projects & Job Traffic Manager to oversee the seamless coordination, tracking, and execution of marketing projects. This operational role is critical in ensuring effective workflow management, timely communication, accurate reporting, and meticulous documentation across internal departments, external clients, and suppliers. The successful candidate will drive project efficiency, resolve bottlenecks proactively, and maintain high standards of quality and delivery while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing Traffic Controller: Act as the primary point of contact among internal marketing teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring clarity on project requirements and expectations.
• Project Briefing and Documentation: Facilitate and document client briefings, creating structured job cards to ensure clear and actionable project execution.
• Project Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Resource and Task Management: Oversee resource allocation, task assignments, and team coordination across marketing, creative, and production teams to optimize workflow.
• Tracking Systems: Maintain centralized, up-to-date project tracking systems and dashboards for real-time visibility and accountability.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensure billing accuracy, conduct financial reconciliations, and track expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations, maintaining a culture of compliance and accountability.
• Process Optimization: Administer ERP authorizations, adjust standard operating procedures (SOPs), and streamline approval processes to enhance responsiveness.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, historical records, and reporting systems for transparency and future reference.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with creative and design teams to ensure clear task assignments and timely delivery of outputs aligned with project briefs.
• Creative Output Tracking: Monitor creative deliverables to ensure alignment with briefs and adherence to project timelines.
• Strategic Reporting: Conduct regular meetings to track monthly performance, report on project progress, and plan strategically to meet objectives.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and address strategic risks and workflow challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and third parties, ensuring clarity on contractual obligations and timely deliverables.
• Project Alignment: Oversee marketing projects to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders and readiness for delivery within committed timelines.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in traffic management, marketing operations, or account management within a fast-paced, global marketing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Monday.com) and familiarity with ERP systems for workflow management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Zambian business regulations and compliance requirements in a marketing context.
•  Language: Fluency in English with excellent communication and report-writing skills.
