Job Description:

We are seeking qualified Boilermakers / Fabricators who are interested in employment-based relocation or FIFO opportunities within Australia’s mining sector.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced trade professionals who may be interested in potential future opportunities with leading mining contractors and owner-operator companies across Australia.

This Expression of Interest is intended to create a talent pool for positions that may become available over the coming months and does not relate to a single, immediate vacancy.

The role of Boilermaker / Fabricator will involve the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of heavy mining equipment and structural components within demanding mining environments, including both surface and underground operations. The work requires a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to site-specific and Australian mining standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication, welding, and repair of mining equipment and structural components
• MIG, TIG, and ARC welding in workshop and field environments
• Interpretation of technical and fabrication drawings
• Maintenance and repair of heavy mining infrastructure and machinery
• Working in FIFO and/or underground mining environments
• Ensuring adherence to safety and site compliance standards

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Trade Qualification as Boilermaker
• 3–5 years’ experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
• Proficiency in MIG / TIG / ARC welding techniques
• Experience in underground or FIFO mining environments (preferred)
• Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance capability
• Physically fit for remote and demanding work conditions

Visa Documentation Required:

• Valid passport
• Skills assessment (TRA or equivalent, depending on country of origin)
• Academic and trade certificates
• English language test results (IELTS/PTE or equivalent)
