We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Hiab / Crane Truck Drivers for potential employer-sponsored opportunities within Australia's transport, logistics, freight, and infrastructure sectors.

This talent pooling initiative is aimed at skilled heavy vehicle operators interested in long-term employment opportunities across Western Australia and other key regions. Successful candidates may be considered for future vacancies supporting freight transport, construction, mining, and industrial operations. The role involves the safe operation of crane trucks and heavy combination vehicles, loading and unloading freight using vehicle-mounted lifting equipment, and ensuring compliance with transport, safety, and regulatory requirements. Candidates should have a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and professional driving standards. This Expression of Interest is intended to establish a pipeline of qualified operators for upcoming sponsorship opportunities and does not represent a specific immediate vacancy.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Hiab / Crane Trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with transport regulations
• Load, unload, secure, and transport freight to various customer and project locations
• Conduct pre-start, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections
• Operate vehicle-mounted cranes and lifting equipment safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate transport and delivery records using transport management systems
• Comply with NHVR, road transport, and workplace safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers
• Ensure vehicles, equipment, and cargo are maintained to operational standards

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) Driver's license
• Current Hiab / Vehicle Loading Crane certification
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience operating crane trucks or heavy vehicles
• Experience within transport, freight, logistics, mining, or construction environments
• Strong understanding of load restraint, transport compliance, and safety requirements
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic equipment checks
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to meet Australian sponsorship and employment requirements

Visa Documentation Required

• Valid passport
• Driver's licence and relevant heavy vehicle licences
• Hiab / Vehicle Loading Crane certification
• Employment reference letters confirming relevant experience
• English language test results (IELTS/PTE or equivalent, where required)
• Police clearance certificate
• Medical assessment as required for visa processing
