Job Description:

Our client, a leading IPP, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager: Document & Information Management to lead its global Document Management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and standardising document management processes across international projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and corporate requirements, and driving continuous improvement of document and enterprise content management systems. This role will provide strategic leadership across document control, information governance, digital systems, project handovers and data quality initiatives while supporting operational excellence across the organisation

Responsibilities:

• Lead the global Document Management function and ensure effective management of document control resources across all projects.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve document management procedures, standards and governance frameworks.
• Ensure project and non-project documentation, records and information are managed in accordance with contractual, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Oversee document and information control across all project phases, ensuring accurate reporting and effective change management.
• Ensure project documentation is successfully handed over to Operations and Maintenance teams upon project completion.
• Maintain and enhance Document Management and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems while driving continuous process improvements.
• Lead the assessment, implementation and optimisation of Document Management and Enterprise Content Management solutions.
• Develop and deliver document management training programmes and ensure employees are adequately trained on document control processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, information governance requirements and corporate data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Project Teams and other stakeholders to improve information management practices across the business.
• Provide strategic leadership to the Document Management team, ensuring effective resource planning, capability development and operational excellence.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Degree in Administration, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years' experience working with Document Management Systems (DMS) and document control processes.
• Minimum 2 years' experience leading and managing a team.
• Experience within renewable energy projects and Project Management will be advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of Document Management, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), MS Office, SharePoint and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of project documentation, information governance, technical document control and quality management systems.
• Excellent English communication, leadership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement skills.
