Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Steel Products
Location: Remote-based | Territory: ~400-mile radius of Cleveland, OH
Travel: ~2x/month

Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow and maintain accounts across a multi-state territory. The role is primarily remote/field-based, requiring light travel. The ideal candidate has a strong background in steel sales and thrives in an independent, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers in the assigned region
Drive sales of hot/cold rolled steel products (coil, slit, and sheet)
Maintain regular client communication and conduct in-person visits as needed (~2x/month travel)
Collaborate with internal teams for quoting, product specifications, and order fulfillment
Prepare reports and updates for the GM of Sales
Leverage CRM and sales tracking tools (familiarity with Stelean or Computeries preferred)
Participate in regular team meetings and daily check-ins
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in steel or industrial B2B sales
Strong knowledge of rolled steel products and sales processes
Proven ability to manage a remote sales territory
Comfortable with light travel and independent work
Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., Stelean, Computeries)
Strong communication and customer relationship skills
Education is less critical than relevant industry experience
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100K–$200K (commission structure TBD)
Mileage reimbursement; company vehicle available as needed
Assigned 30 warm accounts during onboarding
Active support and collaboration from internal sales team
