Accounting Manager (Multi-Entity Oversight)
Location: Cleveland, OH (Grant Ave) & Orrville, OH
Schedule: Full-time, On-site | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Travel: Required 1–3x/month between sites
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 base + $10,000–$20,000 bonus potential

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who can thrive in a dynamic, people-first business while leading financials for multiple companies.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and culturally aligned Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for CR Construction (Cleveland) and Amtract (Orrville). This role functions like a Controller, wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, evolving organization. You'll handle everything from day-to-day accounting functions to high-level financial strategy, with heavy involvement in executive financial reviews and bank consolidations.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical accounting skill with personable communication, and who is comfortable navigating both professional stakeholders and blue-collar teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting functions for two operating companies
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports
Coordinate month-end close activities and maintain timely reporting deadlines
Oversee cost allocations and multi-entity financial consolidation
Participate in executive-level financial meetings and reporting
Interact with external auditors, banks, legal counsel, and compliance agents
Travel between sites (1–3x per month) as needed
Maintain accounting system integrity (ComputerEase experience a plus)
Supervise financial practices with strong attention to internal controls
Assist in onboarding your successor (current Accounting Manager) if available
Represent the company in client-facing and networking scenarios as needed
Required Qualifications
CPA designation preferred
2–4 years of accounting experience
Experience managing financials for multiple business entities
Strong knowledge of consolidated financials, GAAP, and cost controls
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Construction industry or real estate/property management background preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (use of company vehicle)
Must pass drug and background screening
