Program Director - SAP Record to Report (RTR)
Key Responsibilities
•Sales & Delivery Support: Drive successful outcomes in sales pursuits and project delivery for Finance Transformation initiatives using S/4HANA.
•Solution Leadership: Ensure high-quality solution designs that align with current and future business requirements. Evaluate alternatives to meet business objectives and oversee cross-project process and design governance.
•Implementation Expertise: Lead the planning and execution of business requirements workshops with clients to design and deploy S/4HANA solutions for Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes.
•Project Deliverables: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including Business Blueprints, gap analyses, RICEFW inventories, end-to-end process designs, functional specifications, testing strategies, cutover plans, and training materials.
•Governance & Planning: Estimate and plan SAP Record-to-Report (RTR) projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
•Proven track record of successfully leading at least five (5) end-to-end, full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations for global enterprises.
•Strong understanding of SAP’s S/4HANA roadmap and ability to advise clients on adoption strategies.
•Expertise in Finance and Controlling processes within S/4HANA, including solution design and deployment.
Qualifications:
•Business Process Expertise: Demonstrated end-to-end knowledge of Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and ability to lead large-scale, global RTR transformation programs with a strong understanding of business value and objectives.
•Consulting & Leadership: Minimum 20 years of ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience, including at least 6 years in proposal development and business case creation. Proven ability to manage programs with 20+ resources and deliver complex transformation initiatives.
SAP Functional Expertise:
•Finance (FI): Deep knowledge of General Ledger, Intercompany Accounting, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Manufacturing Variance, and integration with Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash processes.
•Controlling (CO): Expert-level proficiency in Product Costing, CO-PCA, CO-CCA, COPA, and integration with Materials Management.
•Working knowledge of S/4HANA Finance structures, configuration, and features is mandatory.
•Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with integration points across BPC, SD, and MM modules.
•Business Communication: Ability to speak the language of business, guide stakeholders toward optimal SAP solutions, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Comfortable engaging with Finance Controllers, senior management, and C-level executives.
•Project Management: Skilled in project estimation, planning, staffing, and governance. Capable of providing accurate timelines and cost estimates while managing teams and client expectations with minimal oversight.
•Mentorship: Hands-on approach with the ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
•Sales Acumen: Proven experience in sales pursuits and business development.
•Travel & Work Authorization: Willingness to travel up to 100%. Must be legally authorized to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
•Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
