Jackson Law Group, a rapidly growing Roswell-based multi-practice law firm, is seeking an attorney to join our litigation team. Primary subject matter of litigation will be automobile insurance defense, however applicant will get exposure to contract, real estate, and corporate litigation.
The ideal candidate should have at least one year of civil litigation experience and be well versed in the Georgia Civil Practice Act. Prior experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus. Must have strong time management, organizational, clerical and writing skills and be able to work in an energetic and fast paced environment. Candidate should be comfortable with all stages of civil litigation including, filing answer, preparing and submitting case evaluation reports, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, conducting discovery, retaining and communicating with experts, taking and defending depositions, motions practice and have prior trial experience.
Qualifications
·Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Clio and PDF software;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Professional demeanor and customer service oriented;
- Strong ability to problem solve;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Excellent legal research skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel;
Education and Experience Requirements:
·At least one year of litigation experience preferably in the insurance defense field
- Bachelor's Degree
- J.D.
- Active and in good standing with State Bar of Georgia
