Purpose of the Role The OutSystems Tech Lead/Solution Architect is responsible for designing, overseeing, and ensuring the quality of complex OutSystems applications that support business objectives. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, leading teams and providing expert guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
o Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using the OutSystems platform.
o Translate business requirements into technical architectures and system designs.
o Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance guidelines.
o Lead and mentor development teams in OutSystems best practices, coding standards, and technical problem-solving.
o Review code and solution designs, ensuring high standards and maintainability.
o Guide teams in agile and DevOps practices within the OutSystems environment.
o Oversee project delivery from concept to deployment, identifying risks and issues early.
o Manage integration with other systems (internal and external) and support test strategies.
o Ensure robust documentation is created and maintained.
o Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, testers, and other IT teams.
o Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
o Evaluate and recommend OutSystems features, patterns, and accelerators to drive innovation.
o Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
