Assistant Project Management (AMOE) / Railway Project Manager (6137-1) -France

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Management (AMOE) / Railway Project Manager to support complex railway projects involving signaling systems and Operation Support Systems (SAE) for Metro, RER, and railway networks.
You will coordinate with project owners, engineering teams, validation teams, industrial partners, operations, and maintenance teams while supporting the complete project lifecycle following the V-Model, from design through commissioning and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Project Management & Coordination

• Manage the day-to-day execution of railway projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead technical meetings and project progress reviews.
• Monitor action items, risks, dependencies, and project milestones.
• Coordinate interfaces between different railway subsystems and engineering disciplines.
• Support project reporting and monitor project planning, cost, schedule, and quality.

2. Systems Engineering & Design

• Analyze functional requirements and project input data.
• Participate in defining the system architecture and technical interfaces.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, including:
  • System Specifications
  • System Architecture Documents
  • Technical Documentation
  • Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Ensure technical consistency between customer requirements, system design, and the implemented solution.

3. Validation, Testing & Integration

• Prepare and coordinate system testing, validation, and qualification activities.
• Monitor defects, issues, and corrective action plans.
• Supervise software release deployments and system integration in test and operational environments.
• Support:
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Commissioning activities

4. Transition to Operations

• Support the operational commissioning of railway systems.
• Manage post-deployment corrective actions.
• Prepare the handover to the maintenance team.
• Support warranty follow-up activities after system deployment.
