The Hardware Mechanical Architect will be responsible for leading the mechanical
design, development, and integration of camera hardware systems for automotive
applications. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering, thermal
management, and packaging design to ensure camera systems (e.g., sensors, optics,
enclosures) meet stringent automotive standards for durability, performance, and
safety. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including camera
hardware and software engineers, and OEM/Tier-1 partners to deliver innovative and
scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
enclosures, mounts, and thermal management solutions for dash cameras, 360-degree systems, and ADAS-enabled smart cameras.
protect camera components (e.g., CMOS sensors, lenses, ISPs) in harsh
environments (vibration, temperature extremes, IP67/IP69K sealing).
ensure optimal performance of camera hardware under high computational
loads from vision AI processing.
teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with electronic and
software components.
SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo, ensuring compliance with automotive standards
(e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262).
vibration resistance, and thermal performance of camera assemblies.
on vehicle integration requirements and user scenarios.
durability, manufacturability, and compliance with automotive regulations.
for integration or performance challenges.

product competitiveness.
technical documentation.
Qualifications
related field.
automotive electronics or camera systems.
solutions for automotive applications, ideally for vision systems (e.g., ADAS,
surround-view cameras).
(e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) for structural and thermal analysis.
IP67/IP69K) and environmental testing (e.g., vibration, thermal cycling, shock).
suppliers for high-volume production.
their mechanical integration requirements.
teams and OEM/Tier-1 partners.
Preferred Skills
degree cameras, or driver monitoring systems.
