Manager: Maintenance (Cinema & Entertainment Providers)

Main Objective of the Position: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities within an organization or facility. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are in optimal working condition, promoting safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Job Functions:

Maintenance Planning

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for all equipment and facilities.
• Schedule routine maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry best practices.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training and development programs.

Budget Management

• Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies within budget constraints.

Equipment and Facility Maintenance

• Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
• Coordinate the upkeep and repairs of buildings, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of assets.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
• Investigate and report accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.

Vendor Management

• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services.
• Review and negotiate maintenance contracts to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of spare parts and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and inefficiencies.

Documentation and Reporting

• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
• Generate reports on maintenance performance, budget utilization, and key performance indicators.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance maintenance operations.

Special Projects: To lead an initiatives or tasks that are distinct from routine or ongoing activities. These projects are typically unique, time-bound, and require specific attention and resources to achieve their objectives. Special projects can vary widely in nature, from research and development efforts to strategic initiatives, and they often involve a dedicated team or resources to ensure their successful completion.

Education: B.Tech/BE, Diploma+B.Tech
