Job Description for the ABAP Candidate

As a developer you can work with the most recent technologies and participate in SAP implementation, application maintenance and migration projects of our Group companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP application development to support business requirements and process improvements.
• Develop custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using:
  • ABAP Workbench
  • ABAP Objects (Classes, Methods)
  • BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP forms, including:
  • SAP Adobe Forms
  • SAP Script
  • (SmartForms, if applicable)
• Design and implement complex database models and queries using:
  • Core Data Services (CDS Views)
  • Optimized Open SQL techniques
• Develop and enhance applications using SAP Fiori and SAP UI5, ensuring high usability and performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and documentation of developed objects.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines.
• Provide support for existing SAP applications and resolve production issues as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP / ABAP OO development.
• Hands-on experience with BAPI, BADI, enhancements, and user exits.
• Experience working with SAP Adobe Forms and SAP Script.
• Solid knowledge of CDS Views and database optimization techniques.
• Experience in SAP Fiori and UI5 application development.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or others is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
