Maintenance Engineer

1. Maintenance strategy 

• Identifying and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy that ensures efficient operations
• Looking for new ways to improve productivity and cut costs 
• Ensuring follow-up of  company policies and standard operating procedures for all maintenance work
• Ensuring that all maintenance processes are consistent with industry regulations. 
• Drafting maintenance reports that help measure and improve team performance
• Adherence to the maintenance plans and strategies
• Maintenance of environment related plants to meet all standard safety and legal norms

2. Management of maintenance staff

• Scheduling and assigning work orders and proactive maintenance tasks
• Prioritizing work across the team
• Performing inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality
• Hiring, training and performance monitoring of  maintenance staff 

3. Management of non-staff resources

• Management of budgets and approval of expenses 
• Forecasting and ordering of spare parts inventory
• Management of subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work 
• Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment

Secondary tasks / other tasks:

• Machine shifting in case of any changes in layout or new projects.
• Maintenance of auxiliary machines used for other than production activities.
• Coordination with technician for fabrication, welding works for projects and ongoing tasks.
• Coordination with purchase for vendor development and local procurement.
