Supply Chain Manager – Mining Northern Cape

Our client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking an experienced and qualified Supply Chain Manager to join their team. To develop, co-ordinate, implement and manage the execution of an overall strategy to improve costs, service and quality across their mining operations and to co-ordinate with strategic sourcing stakeholders and suppliers to achieve performance targets. Ensure the day-to-day operation of the purchasing section by ensuring cost effective, timeous and excellent quality purchasing of items and services according to policies and procedures.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Logistics/Supply Chain/Finance/Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years operational supply chain experience in a mining/technical environment
• Minimum of five (5) years management experience
• Ensure day to day operation of Stores section by ensuring effective stock management, which includes but not limited to:
  • Category Management; Quality Management
