About the Job Opportunity:

AirFi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Lead where you'll lead

high-performing engineering teams to design and scale robust, secure, and efcient

cloud-based solutions using Java/Springboot, AWS, and Heroku. This role involves

driving technical excellence, integrating diverse technologies, and making

data-driven architectural decisions.

As this is a remote job, we would also expect the candidate to have a reliable

high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace and be able to work in the

timezone overlapping with the teams in the company.

Your key responsibilities:

Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams to build and scale highly

reliable, secure, and performant platforms/products and frameworks.

Lead and manage technical teams efciently, ensuring effective collaboration,

productivity, and timely delivery of projects

Own the technical design, realization, and DevOps for a complex microservices

ecosystem for large-scale ecommerce.

Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on engineering excellence,

execution, and a build-for-scale mindset.

Develop trusted partnerships with developers, partners, and architecture leaders

to drive optimized platform/product delivery.

Lead complex technical and strategic discussions involving multiple

stakeholders, including engineering, architecture, product, and customer teams.

Drive development and design solutions involving the integration of varied

technologies and products to meet business objectives.

Bring a strong industry perspective to help shape and evolve the internal

developer experience to be competitive with leading technology organizations.

Drive effective, mature Agile practices and continuous execution improvements

within your teams.

Utilize technology from global solutions within the Walmart ecosystem to build

scalable and innovative solutions.

Exhibit a high sense of urgency to solve problems and execute solutions with

extreme ownership.

Attitude to enjoy in a fun, fast-paced environment

Must-Have Technical Skills:

5 + years of experience in Java, with strong expertise in Spring Boot.

Experience with Javascript and Node JS

Prociency in AWS and Heroku, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture

patterns.

Experience with microservices, cloud architecture, and event-driven design

patterns.

Make architectural decisions based on analytical data patterns.

Knowledge of message queuing technologies like MSMQ, RabbitMQ, SNS, SQS,

etc.

Experience with databases such as CouchDB, MongoDB, Postgres, and MySQL.

Prociency in integrating systems using REST APIs and sockets.

Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and performance optimization.

Experience with developing high quality Mobile Applications.

Prociency in Linux and shell scripting.

Strong skills in security and performance optimization.
