Position Overview
We’re looking for a Mandarin-speaking Guest Relations Officer (GRO) to join a high-end hospitality team. You’ll be the face of the establishment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their stay—especially our Chinese-speaking guests. This role requires professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in/check-out, and provide personalised service.
Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking guests, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
Assist with VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recognition programs.
Maintain accurate guest records and reports in the system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
At least 3 – 5 years of experience in front office, guest relations, or customer service in a hotel or resort.
Fluent in Mandarin Level 4 and English (spoken and written).
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance and communication.
Flexible with schedules and able to work under pressure.
