In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ETL processes through the development and execution of automated tests. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for ETL processes. - Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and move data across various systems. - Validate data integrity and perform thorough testing of ETL pipelines to ensure accurate data transformation and loading. - Identify, document, and track defects in a structured manner, providing clear information on the issues. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testing quality and processes. - Continuously improve testing frameworks and processes to enhance testing efficiency. - Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience in ETL Testing with a focus on data quality and accuracy. - Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar. - Experience with SQL and database management systems for data validation. - Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
