About the Company Kauvery is a fast-growing floral and gifting brand in Jammu, specializing in premium wedding decorations, event management, customized hampers, floral arrangements, and celebration planning. With a growing presence and a loyal customer base, we are expanding our team and looking for a Business Development Manager who can take our brand to the next level.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in wedding planning, event decoration, and gifting services. Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, wedding venues, hotels, and corporate clients. Work closely with the in-house team to develop customized proposals, decoration themes, and event packages. Drive revenue growth through B2B partnerships, client acquisition, and seasonal campaign planning. Attend and represent the brand at wedding expos, local events, and networking meetups. Develop and maintain a CRM system to track leads, customer engagement, and conversion pipeline. Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional campaigns and digital strategies. Stay updated on market trends in wedding décor, floral trends, and experiential gifting. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the wedding/event planning or floral/gifting industry. Strong network and connections within the wedding or events ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for creativity, aesthetics, and customer satisfaction. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
