Post: QC Head
Key Responsibilities
Calibration & Gauge Management: Maintain master inventory, track history records, manage in-house/external calibration, and oversee recall protocols and procurement of instruments.
Quality Analysis & Defect Reduction: Conduct micro-analysis on rework and rejections (focusing on Top 5 rejections) and establish target action plans.
PPM Control & Problem-Solving: Lower internal and external PPM metrics using structured tools such as 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis.
Inspection Strategy & Compliance: Execute SPC, MSA, and layout inspection schedules while monitoring receiving, in-process, and pre-dispatch testing according to control plans.
Customer Issue Resolution: Investigate customer complaints, conduct root-cause assessments, and ensure effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented.
Data & Non-Conforming Product Control: Manage non-conforming items, enforce data integrity, and maintain complete departmental documentation to satisfy compliance standards.
Team Leadership & Process Alignment: Direct and mentor QC staff across all inspection activities, reviewing reports to guide daily continuous improvement.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Participate in daily operational meetings, manage calibration/gauge budgeting, and align with other departments to hit departmental KPIs.
Standards & CSR Integration: Enforce Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) and support adaptive operational duties as organizational needs evolve.
