Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, an insurtech company that uses advanced technology to simplify and make insurance more affordable by connecting diverse products through multiple distribution channels. Operating under three main business models—B2A, B2C, and B2B2C—the company provides a specialized app that empowers agents and brokers to act as independent consultants, while also offering micro-insurance solutions designed to make coverage accessible at lower costs. With a strong presence across four countries, supported by hundreds of team members and numerous branches, the company consistently delivers millions of policies each month and is striving to become the leading insurtech platform in Southeast Asia, ensuring insurance is available to everyone in the region.

Job Responsibilities

• Business Development & Partnership Management
• Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with e-commerce platforms, digital payment providers, and other relevant ecosystems.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, and post-launch performance.
• Explore cross-selling opportunities and new distribution models to expand market reach.
• Ensure product competitiveness through continuous improvement of customer experience and pricing strategy.
• Monitor performance metrics (sales, conversion, retention, claim ratios) and propose improvement strategies.
• Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management review.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams (product & tech, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional teams to replicate and adapt successful business models across markets.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and local partners to ensure compliance with insurance laws and guidelines.
• Support team development and knowledge sharing on digital partnership and e-commerce strategies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• Knowledge of digital platforms/marketplaces (e.g., TikTok, JD, Taobao, Shopee, Lazada, Grab).
• Familiarity with the Chinese insurance regulatory framework.
• Strong understanding of micro insurance, digital distribution models, and online consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and quick to act on issues.
• Willingness to travel outside China.
