Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to drive trade marketing strategies and execution across multiple sales channels. This role is responsible for developing customer activation programs, trade promotions, merchandising excellence, and field execution to maximize sales growth, distribution, and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business and commercial objectives.
• Translate brand strategies into effective channel-specific activation plans across General Trade, Modern Trade, Local Key Accounts, and Food Service channels.
• Plan and execute annual trade promotion calendars, including retailer programs, distributor incentives, and customer promotions.
• Monitor trade investment and promotion effectiveness to maximize ROI.
• Lead, coach, and develop field execution teams to ensure consistent execution standards and achievement of sales targets.
• Develop customer development initiatives to improve distribution, outlet productivity, merchandising, and in-store visibility.
• Lead consumer activation programs including sampling, events, roadshows, retail activations, sponsorships, and community engagement activities.
• Ensure excellence in retail execution through effective POSM deployment, merchandising standards, planogram compliance, and display execution.
• Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support product launches and commercial initiatives.
• Monitor key commercial performance indicators and recommend improvement strategies to drive sales growth and operational excellence.
• Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of marketing investments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Customer Development, or Commercial functions within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or related industries.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Trade Marketing leadership role.
• Proven experience leading large field sales or trade marketing teams across multiple regions.
• Strong experience managing General Trade (GT) is mandatory.
• Experience handling Modern Trade, Local Key Accounts, and Food Service (HoReCa) channels is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and executing national trade promotions and customer activation programs.
• Strong knowledge of trade marketing strategy, shopper marketing, route-to-market, merchandising, retail execution, and distributor management.
• Experience managing trade marketing budgets and evaluating promotion effectiveness.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience in multinational FMCG or consumer goods companies is highly preferred.
• Willing to be based in Bandung/Garut, West Java.
