Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's product innovation strategy and technical roadmap across multiple product categories.
Lead end-to-end product development, from concept generation, formulation, validation, scale-up, and commercialization.
Provide technical leadership and scientific direction to R&D teams, ensuring high standards of formulation, product performance, and innovation.
Evaluate emerging technologies, ingredients, and scientific advancements to develop competitive and consumer-centric products.
Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, QA/QC, and Supply Chain to align innovation initiatives with business objectives.
Oversee technical feasibility studies, formulation optimization, stability testing, and manufacturing transfer activities.
Ensure all products comply with GMP, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company expectations.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Translate consumer needs and market opportunities into technically feasible and commercially successful products.
Represent the company as the technical expert when engaging with external manufacturers, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Pharmacy is required (Apothecary/Pharmacist License is a plus).
Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, or Product Innovation within pharmaceutical, personal care, cosmetics, FMCG, or related industries.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical or innovation teams.
Strong expertise in formulation development, ingredient science, product efficacy, stability, manufacturing processes, and commercialization.
Proven experience leading complex product development projects and providing scientific direction.
Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated leadership with the technical credibility to mentor senior R&D professionals and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience working closely with Manufacturing, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners.
Exposure to business strategy, consumer insights, market trends, and brand development is highly preferred.
Excellent analytical thinking, strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
