Job Responsibilities

Oversee the performance and quality of the lending portfolio to ensure healthy portfolio growth.
Monitor portfolio trends, identify early risk indicators, and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Analyze customer repayment behavior and develop portfolio improvement initiatives.
Review and approve unsecured lending applications within delegated authority while ensuring compliance with internal credit policies.
Conduct comprehensive credit assessments based on financial capacity, credit history, and supporting documentation.
Recommend loan restructuring and portfolio intervention strategies for at-risk accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, Collections, and Risk to optimize portfolio performance and customer outcomes.
Prepare portfolio analysis, management reports, and actionable business insights.
Drive continuous improvement of credit processes, portfolio strategies, and decision-making frameworks.
Mentor junior credit professionals and contribute to credit governance and policy enhancement.

Job Requirements

At least Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
Minimum 7–9 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Portfolio Management
- Credit Approvals
Bonus point if you have experience in:
- Loan Restructuring
- Collections Strategy
Mandatory to have proven experience managing portfolio of unsecured lending or consumer loan.
Strong background in Lending or Bank
Hands-on experience developing and managing Early Warning Systems.
Solid understanding of credit assessment, portfolio analytics, and risk management principles.
Experience handling loan restructuring and portfolio recovery strategies is highly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound business decisions.
Must be proficient in:
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Mandatory): Advanced formulas, Dashboards, Pivot Tables, Portfolio Analytics, Financial Modelling, Scenario Analysis, Google Apps Script (preferred)
- Data & Analytics: Strong working knowledge of BigQuery (mandatory), Power BI or Tableau (preferred), Python for portfolio analytics (good to have)
Eexperience with BigQuery, Power BI/Tableau, or Python is an advantage.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
