English Teacher

Overview

A leading senior high school is looking for an English teacher to strengthen the quality of English learning.

The role focuses on improving students’ communication skills, fluency, and confidence in English — especially for presentations, competitions, and global programs.

Beyond classroom teaching, the teacher will help design strategies and activities to enhance oral fluency, coach both students and teachers in using English, and support initiatives that promote a stronger global mindset.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach English to students, in line with the school's learning goals.
• Create engaging lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Develop and run initiatives that encourage English conversation and communication in school settings.
• Coach and motivate students to use English confidently, especially in competitions, debates, and public speaking.
• Provide input and ideas to strengthen English activities and exposure in the school environment.
• Support teachers in improving their English for communication when needed.

Profile Requirements

• English speakers, currently based in Indonesia and available to start soon.
• Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience (school or language center background acceptable).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
• Passionate about helping students build confidence and real-world English fluency.
• Willing to relocate or commute to Sragen, Central Java.
