Project Coordinator (Research)

Project Coordinator

This will be a 1-year renewable contract position.

Responsibilities: 

• Development of research project management documents such as project proposals which include project budgets, project schedules and project plans 
• Engage with project teams, collecting metrics, status report and periodic project governance 
• Allocation of project resources 
• Timely onboarding of required CROs, consultants or advisors 
• Mid-term review and closing of the projects
• Liaise with various departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and proper input of information into the electronic portal 
• Record keeping to ensure proof of payment claims/invoices/purchase orders/service contracts, project activities and management approvals 
• Admin duties like managing the service contracts, generate claims, project invoices, purchase orders and project reports

Requirements:

• Diploma in Science, Engineering or a relevant field 
• Over 6 years of working experience in research project coordination and management as well as administrative roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and stay organised 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat and willing to learn new enterprise software
• Prior experience with grant management and research environment advantageous
