Vendor coordinator/Assistant Manager
1. Verbal and written communication with vendors as per the project requirement for different language, services and resources working in time zones.
2. Negotiating/Bargaining with vendors in order to maintain profit margins.
3. Searching vendors/Translators on different vendor, translator portals, Social networking sites and contacting for collaboration.
4. Vetting/Testing translators by sending them tests and getting evaluated by PMs and language leads.
5. Empaneling resources by adhering to Fidel’s vendor empaneling process.
6. Updating vendor information and maintaining vendor data base on regular bases.
7. Handling escalations:
a- Project managers’ escalation regarding vendor- Follow up with non-responsive vendor, Quality issues, Behavioral issues. Taking required action after consulting the reporting manager.
b- Vendor escalation: Payment queries- Follow up with accounts team, Explaining Fidel vendor payment policy etc.
8. Collaborating with Top-Management, Sales team, Project Management team to understand their resource requirements and be able to provide correct inputs which helps to close bids and meet delivery schedules.
9. Updating proactively top management, Project manage team, Sales team about resource availability, Regional holidays, National holidays etc.
