Ensure timely delivery of monthly & annual financial statements per Indian GAAP/IFRS.
Coordinate annual statutory and internal audits; address audit observations.
3. Compliance & Governance
Ensure statutory compliance (IncomeTax, GST, UGC, AICTE, PCI, COA, state regulations).
Maintain strong financial governance via policies, approvals, and internal controls.
4. Treasury & Fund Management
Manage cashflow forecasts; optimise banking relationships.
Oversee education loans, grants, donor funds, and project finances.
5. Strategic Financial Advisory
Advise senior leadership on investment strategies, fee structures, capital expenditures.
Support longterm financial strategy, fundraising, and new program financial models.
6. Team Leadership & Process Management
Lead Finance & Accounts teams; set objectives, coach, and build capacity.
Drive process improvements and automation via ERP (e.g., SAP, Tally, etc.).
Required Qualifications & Skills
CA preferably, or MBA (Finance) with a strong accounting background.
12+ years in finance/accounting roles; with 5 years in senior management in educational/nonprofit sectors.
Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, educational regulatory requirements.
Experience managing audits, fund accounting, and financial systems implementation.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and IT skills.
