Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Noida
Primary Responsibility
Contract Administrator shall be responsible for management of Contract including management of contractual obligations of Company. The person shall understand the contractual provisions and draft notices to client/PMC. He/she should be well-organized and conversant with FIDIC contracts, project management, EPC /O&M working methodologies and legal requirements in India.
Contract Administrator is expected to:
· Management of contract post award of Contract. Work in collaboration with different functional teams like design, execution, BD, planning to understand project timelines, related constraints, and fulfilment of Contractual obligation and monitoring of set processes.
· Preparing accurate claims e.g. Prolongations costs, Underutilisation, Price Variation, Variation to the Contract etc.
· Preparation of delay analysis and extension of time applications.
· Close coordination with legal department for dispute resolution process and pursual.
· Change management process.
· Coordination with all internal & external stakeholders and cross functional teams
· Prepare CAD (Contract Appreciation Documents)
· Prepare Contract MIS and update the real-time data in claim’s application.
· Preparation of draft reply to the various contractual letters, Notice of defaults, delay analysis reports etc.
· Prepare of Risk Analysis and contract summary of tender documents.
· Contractual communication with Client and consultant.
· Ensure proper documentation of all the communication exchanged.
· Identifying triggering events leading to time and cost implications.
Skills Required
1. Professional/Education:
10 plus years in Contract Management, ideally in a project driven organization out of which minimum 3-4 years site experience is must.
(BTech (Civil/Electrical) + NICMAR/Law)
Knowledge of Indian Contract Act’1872 and Arbitration & Conciliation Act’1996
Experience in handling disputes (preferred).
