For nearly a hundred years, SEFPRO has played a key role in the evolution of the refractory offer available to glassmakers around the world. The business produces refractory solutions ranging in the fused-cast AZS ER range, the alumina Jargal range, the sintered (white bonded) range, and the feeder expendable range.We also offer partnerships through SEFPRO-Care and SEFPRO Guard for technical collaboration in the furnace life cycle. In 2002, SEFPRO started operations when Saint-Gobain acquired a plant in Palakkad. Palakkad is a unique location for SEFPRO India, where both fused cast and sintered refractories are manufactured in the same campus. In 2015, SEFPRO India expanded its production base with the establishment of a plant in Perundurai, near Erode, Tamil Nadu. This plant manufactures and exports fused-cast alumina and fused-cast AZS (Alumina Zirconia Silica) refractories.

Engineer-Digital Manufacturing – Palakkad/Perundurai/Remote

Position: Engineer- Digital Manufacturing Location: Palakkad/Perundurai/Remote Qualifications: BE / B.Tech- CS/EEE/ECE/E&I/ Instrumentation and Control / MCA - Ignition certified Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Automation applications for manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

MES System Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES systems. Monitor MES system performance and ensure uptime and reliability. Respond to and resolve MES-related incidents and service requests. Work closely with production teams to understand and address their MES needs.

Tool Expertise: Utilize the Certified Ignition Tool for system configuration, maintenance, and support. Develop and maintain Ignition projects and applications. Integrate Ignition with other systems (SAP ERP) and databases as required. Provide training and support to users on Ignition features and functionalities.

System Maintenance and Optimization: Perform regular system audits and health checks. Implement system upgrades, patches, and improvements. Optimize MES workflows and processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure data integrity and security within the MES environment.

Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, production, and engineering. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Provide user training and support to ensure effective use of MES and Ignition systems.To make specific recommendations and proposal for repair related enquiries from Asia region- Customer visits and discussions to understand the problem and propose best possible solutions.

Attributes Required:

Ignition tool, including scripting, project development, and system integration.

Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, Postgres SQL) and understanding of network

concepts.

Strong knowledge of MES systems and processes.Knowledge in PLC & SCADA systems
