Position: QA Tester Experience: 2 years Work Location: Kochi (Onsite) Salary Range: Upto 5 LPA
Key Responsibilities * Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios * Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications * Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing * Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps * Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) * Perform API testing using tools like Postman (if applicable) * Execute basic automation scripts (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.) if required * Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation * Support release testing and post-production validation
Required Skills * 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing * Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC * Experience in manual testing methodologies * Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, etc.) * Basic understanding of SQL for database testing * Knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools (Selenium/Cypress preferred) * Understanding of Agile methodologies * Good analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and documentation skills
