Sourcing Specialist (MY)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist based in Malaysia to independently support our hiring efforts by sourcing and identifying qualified candidates for researcher roles. This individual contributor position focuses on end-to-end candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination to ensure an efficient recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

• Understand role requirements and candidate profiles independently to source the right talent.
• Source and identify potential candidates through various channels such as job portals, networking, and databases.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments to shortlist suitable candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and recruitment reports.
• Manage the recruitment process from sourcing through to offer and onboarding coordination.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future researcher roles.
• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
   

Requirements:

• ⁠Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
• ⁠Proven experience as a recruiter or talent sourcer, preferably supporting research or technical roles.
• ⁠Familiarity with candidate sourcing tools and platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
