Context > Client is a multi-service, multi-country logistics and supply chain Group, operating across the GCC. With service offering spanning overland transport (FTL, LTL), express and last-mile delivery, warehousing, customs brokerage, and contract logistics, the group serves a diverse blue-chip customer base across e-commerce, retail, FMCG, food and temperature-sensitive products, B2B distribution, regional trading, and healthcare/pharma-adjacent supply chains. Following the recent strategic acquisition of a complementary logistics operator, the group has materially expanded its geographic footprint, asset base, and service capabilities. The combined business now employs between [X and Y] people and generates revenues in the USD 100M+ range. The group operates under the governance of a multi-shareholder structure that includes a publicly listed entity, requiring the incoming CEO to operate with the transparency, discipline, and shareholder relations acuity appropriate to a listed-company environment, while retaining the entrepreneurial agility of a high-growth regional operator. Tasks/Responsibilities > Strategic Leadership > Define and execute a multi-year strategic plan consolidating the group’s post-acquisition position and establishing a clear path to GCC market leadership; translate strategy into annual operating plans with accountability cascaded throughout the organization. Post Acquisition Integration > Manage the human complexity of integration — talent retention, redundancy, cultural alignment, and employer brand unification — with empathy and decisiveness in equal measure. Commercial & Revenue Growth > Build a strong commercial pipeline with particular focus on high-margin contract logistics and 3PL mandates; establish pricing discipline, margin management frameworks, and commercial governance across business units. Operational Excellence > Drive continuous improvement across operational KPIs: on-time delivery, fleet utilization, warehouse throughput, customs dwell time, and cost per unit; embed HSSE standards appropriate to high-volume road freight and warehousing. People & Organization > Build and retain a high-caliber senior leadership team across Operations, Commercial, Finance, Technology, and HR; establish succession planning and a performance culture aligned with the group’s ambitions. Financial & Governance Stewardship > Maintain full P&L accountability for the combined group; manage working capital, liquidity, and capital investment decisions appropriate to a capital-intensive logistics business, with transparent and timely Board reporting.

Requisites > A) Minimum 15 years of progressive logistics or supply chain leadership, with at least 5 years at CEO, COO, EVP or MD level of a multi-service logistics business. B) Demonstrable track record of growth, margin expansion, and PMI — spanning people, systems, and commercial functions. C) Deep operational command of at least three of the following service lines: overland freight (FTL/LTL), express delivery, last-mile, warehousing, or contract logistics. D) Proven GCC market experience — understanding of cross-border road freight dynamics, free zone structures, customs environments, and country-specific regulatory requirements across Saudi Arabia, UAE, and at least two other GCC states. E) Experience managing a business in a volatile, high-growth market — with a record of maintaining service quality and financial discipline under pressure. F) P&L ownership at scale commensurate with the group's current revenue profile G) Experience operating within or reporting to a publicly listed entity, a PE-backed business, or a multi-shareholder governance structure. H) Resilience under volatility: Thrives in markets characterized by geopolitical uncertainty, demand fluctuation, and regulatory change — maintains composure and decisiveness. Fluency in English is essential. Arabic language proficiency is strongly preferred and will be a material differentiator in the selection process.
