Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization. The role requires a strategic finance professional with strong expertise in financial management, tax compliance, financial reporting, and operational cost control. Key Responsibilities *Strategic Financial Management* 1. Provide financial insights and strategic advisory support to management. 2. Lead budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes. 3. Analyze financial performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability. 4. Support management with pricing decisions, business expansion plans, and contract evaluations. Tax Compliance & Regulatory Management 1. Ensure full compliance with corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations. 2. Oversee accurate and timely tax filings and remittances. 3. Liaise with tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and auditors when required. 4. Implement internal financial controls to minimize regulatory and financial risks. Financial Operations & Cost Control 1. Oversee budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost optimization across departments. 2. Monitor procurement, operational, and production costs to protect profit margins. 3. Ensure efficient financial systems and internal controls are maintained. Financial Reporting 1. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 2. Oversee the preparation of Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. 3. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial reporting. 4. Support internal and external audit processes. Treasury & Cash Flow Management 1. Manage company cash flow and working capital effectively. 2. Maintain relationships with financial institutions and banking partners. 3. Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes. Team Leadership 1. Supervise finance and accounting staff. 2. Implement efficient financial systems and operational procedures. 3. Promote accountability, financial discipline, and compliance within the team. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. 2. Professional certification, such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, is highly preferred. 3. 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role. 4. Strong knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance. 5. Excellent analytical, financial reporting, and leadership skills. 6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
