Company Driver

RESPONSIBILITIES

• KEEPING THE VEHICLES CLEAN: The vehicle must be properly washed every morning and cleaned at every site or destination stopped at before leaving for another trip, this is because of the dusty and dirty nature of some of our roads.
• VEHICLES MUST BE IN PERFECT SHAPE: The vehicles must always be in perfect shape, ready for use. For example, a vehicle that is used often may break down or need items like engine oil, changing of brake pads, fixing of tyres, and other maintenance related items. It is therefore the responsibility of the drivers to make sure they inform the company on time regarding all maintenance related issues.
• EXCELLENCE IN THE DISCHARGE OF DUTIES: All drivers must be excellent, especially in the discharge of their duties and must be able to easily navigate the road networks and have a clean driving record with no accidents and traffic violations.
• RELEVANT LICENSES: All drivers must have the appropriate and relevant licenses, and must be knowledgeable with local driving directions, as well as road closures and repairs signs in order to transport materials and individuals safely and securely to their destinations.
• TIME MANAGEMENT: All drivers must follow schedule routes and reroute in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion, to allow for timely delivery of materials and individuals.
• DELIVERY MANAGEMENT: Drivers will manage and take charge of the deliveries, dropping off and picking up materials and equipment, within the period these items are in their custody. 
•  LOADING AND UNLOADING: All drivers must as a matter of fact help with loading and unloading of items in and out of the vehicle assigned to them as well as partaking in any other assignment given to them by the management.
• PETROL TOP UP AND MILEAGE PRESENTATION: All drivers must work on the timely presentation of mileage appropriately for petrol top up into their vehicles.
• STATE SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS: All drivers must obey and follow all state and national safety regulations and standard road signs.
