Collaborate with other in market departments to create coordinated plans for value-added business growth.
Rigorous analysis of relevant business data and Supply Chain KPIs making recommendations for continuous improvement to optimises E2E supply chain performance, practices and resource allocation.
Leadership and People Management
Leading the Supply Chain Team, engaging and ensuring associates contribute towards the overall supply chain goals.
Share the business vision and ensure direct reports understand their contribution and the strategic milestones that show progress towards the vision.
Demonstrate transformation leadership based on changing business needs.
Recruit and develop an effective team, building the capabilities of associates and develop robust succession plans.
Provide individual associate development and coaching in behaviours and competency development, as well as management of daily, weekly, and monthly review processes.
Promote active participation in learning and continuous improvement activities, with tangible results.
Drive engagement in the team to deliver a culture of total associate ownership.
Deploy the Global organization archetype and implement the standard operation procedure for resource allocation and management.

Create an environment of consultation by promoting shared goals and promotes collaborative approaches.
Distribution and Sales Order Management
Prepare the budget and translate the strategy for distribution model development and management.
Confirm the optimum (cost, cash, service) local supply chain network design including; location of distribution centres; third party logistics suppliers (warehousing, distribution and transportation); distribution capacity planning; layout design; other facilities or tools; transport route setting; required data interfaces; quality and safety requirements and other operational KPIs.
Follow the corporate governance process for third party supplier selection and regular audit processes.
Select and provide user requirement for warehouse management system launch/enhancement.
Build the standard operation procedures for quality charter, regulation profile, security control profile, distribution compliance, management compliance, quality compliance and daily operation process control.
Manage and train RC staff and/or the 3rd party logistics to provide best service level and maintain RC quality, safety and financial standards and ensure adherence to local regulation.
Supervise day to day distribution centre operation, sales order placement operation, customer claims and returns processes to ensure efficient customer service.
Train the distributors to meet the requested service level.
Customer Service
Understand the market context and competitor service offering.
Deliver sustainable customer service excellence through the leadership of a customer service team.
Ensure best in class process and tools to enable and enhance day to day activities.
Develop customer centric strategies, mindset and attitude in the team.
Develop good customer relationships with top identified customers, in collaboration with sales team.
Understand the customer needs and manage perceptions to complement market share ambitions.
Implement and use the CMOS structure and tools to ensure great customer service.
Actively participate in customer reviews and use these as input into a customer centric supply chain strategy.
Forecasting, Purchase Order Management & Inbound and Inventory Management
Maintain an on-time and accurate product master data maintenance.
Supervise the day-to-day forecasting function to drive high level of forecast accuracy through frequent communication with sales team, closely monitoring sales and inventory turnover. Utilising business tools (Future Master) and S&OP+ process to drive high accuracy and one number mindset.
Manage the purchase order procurement and delivery monitoring function to maintain high level of on time delivery, ensuring sustainable customer service excellence.
Proactively adapt to business constraints or challenges where required.
Provide medium term visibility and proactivity of any inventory impacts on customer service excellence.
Ensure inventory planning and control to secure sufficient and cost-effective inventory levels to deliver the required customer service level.
Ensure accurate tracking system to monitor the progress of inbound delivery/inventory level and taking corrective actions to ensure timely receipt.
Import and Forwarding Management
Manage the inbound logistics operation from purchase order delivery arrangement and tracking, vessel arrangement, custom clearance, quality regulation to loading plan till arrival at the warehouse.
Liaise with the custom agent, shipping line and forwarder on freight rates, insurance claims, and transportation arrangement terms.
Establish a delivery database and standard operation procedure to manage the import control function.
Quality & Safety
Implementation and ongoing management of QMP (Quality Management Program) in market
Lead the quality agenda in market.
Ensure all relevant Mars safety requirements are adhered to at sites and safety is observed at our 3PL providers.
Ensure the right infrastructure, process and conditions to deliver audit compliance at all times.
Create and update SOPs for all related processes.
Reporting
Periodic reporting of customer service measures, inventory management and cost drivers.
Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
Analyses current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. (Including but not limited to; Warehouse management, Inbound and outbound processes, customer fulfilment, Quality, time, cost and accuracy measures).
