Manager - SW Tools Development
About the Role We are looking for a Manager – Software Tools Development to build, lead, and grow a high-performing software development team in Pune, India. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strong technical depth with people leadership and end-to-end responsibility for complex software tools used in an international mechatronics environment. The role is a key interface between the Pune development hub and our headquarters, offering significant visibility and influence across projects.
Core Focus Areas:
- Lead and mentor software development teams.
- Drive architecture and technical decisions for scalable products/platforms.
- Manage end-to-end software delivery in agile environments.
- Work closely with global/distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality, delivery timelines, and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications Technical Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15+ years of professional software development experience. At least 3-4 years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
- Prior experience in engineering / product development / industrial tech is highly preferred
Strong hands-on experience with:
- .NET / C#
- Cloud-native development, preferably Microsoft Azure o CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps toolchains
- Microservices architectures
- Solid experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Proven experience working with distributed and international teams.
