Country Manager (Thailand)

Our client is one of the leading SaaS companies in China. They are looking to set-up Thailand office due to business expansion.  Reporting to the CEO based in China, he/she is responsible for the P&L and establishing Thailand office from the scratch. He/she will be working closely with China HQ and should be familiar with business landscape in Thailand market.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with China HQ on strategic initiatives
• Responsible for achieving business objectives in local market
• Establish Thailand office from ground zero
• Manage marketing and sales strategies, increasing brand recognition and awareness
• Maintain existing business relationships and manage business expansion into Thailand market
• Create and implement effective business plans
• Responsible for providing support and services to local clients
• Manage budgets
• Formulate and implement strategies for preventing and managing crises
• Responsible for recruiting, training and motivating of local staff

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• Thai candidates studied in China, or Chinese candidate with working experience in Thailand preferred
• At least 8 years business development or general management experience with some working experience with Chinese based company would be ideal
• Good knowledge of SaaS business
• Experience in project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with both employees and management
• Strong business acumen, passionate and a self-motivator
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritize
