Presales Director

Our client is amongst one of the world most influential IT enterprises.  They are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join them as Presales Manager.  This role is based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre-sales team（including software and hardware）and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive analysis to enhance our offerings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.
• Manage the pre-sales budget and resources effectively to optimize productivity and performance.
• Train and mentor the pre-sales team members, ensuring continuous professional development.
• Stay updated on the latest industry advancements and technologies relevant to our products and services.
• Prepare and present reports on pre-sales activities, performance metrics, and sales forecasts to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in pre-sales.
• Strong knowledge of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and deal closure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Technical acumen and the ability to understand complex solutions and translate them into business value.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Analytical mindset and the ability to analyse market data, trends, and competitor activities.
• Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve sales targets.
