This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Date Provider rmwho has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a contractual Work From Homeposition and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a seniorrole with real opportunities to learn and develop.

They are looking to hire for a contractual position.

Location: Contractual Remote Work from Home in India

Experience: 3 + years

Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities

Building new and improving existing frontend components in our platformcodebase

Modifying internal API endpoints to return new datasets

Collaborating with product managers and designers to scope feasibility

Essential skills and experience

1 year+ commercial experience with Vue.js

And more broadly 3+ years frontend JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience

1 year+ commercial experience using a Python framework for backenddevelopment including API development (ideally with Django and DRF)

Very clear communicator with both other engineers and less technical PMs anddesigners. Capable of interpreting less detailed requirements/specs andexplaining complexities

Will be working fairly independently so good at managing own time andknowing when and how to ask for help

But also working with a reasonably large codebase with some legacy areasneeds to be condent working with unfamiliar technologies and investigatingand resolving tricky issues independently

Desired skills and experience

Experience working on a data-heavy SaaS platform

Some familiarity with ensuring decent db (Postgres) performance when buildingbackend APIs
