Position Overview:

Smart Ship© Hub Digital is looking for experienced professionals with strong technical, analytical and communication skills, having exposure to Marine/ Oil & gas sector, who are excited enough to work and share their experience with fairly young & dynamic Vessel Performance Team. The Vessel Performance Manager will be responsible for optimizing the operational efficiency and performance of our fleet. This role requires a deep understanding of vessel systems, data analysis, and a proactive approach to enhancing overall vessel performance.

Must Have:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Research and data analysis, preferably on tools like MS Excel, ableau, Power BI, Python
• Hands-on attitude and good stakeholder management skills.
• Proven to be hard working, reliable, self-motivated, and flexible, with an ability to work in a fast-paced and result oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as being an excellent team member.
• Knowledge of Performance systems will be an added advantage.
• Can work efficiently across diverse and multicultural teams.
• Enhanced problem-solving skills and interest in resolving challenges with innovative solutions and maximizing resources.
• Ability to influence/lead discussions with stakeholders in achieving results.

  Job Description:

• Performing analytics, provide Technical Advisories, Predictive Analysis using regression models.
• Provide Technical Advisory for vessels onboard: Identify vessels with potential to improve performance, provide relevant technical suggestions / best practices to improve performance and follow up with vessels / owners of TC vessels till the performance is improved.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Engineering and Software Development team.
• Analyse vessel data to identify patterns and provide insights on preventing a repetition of failure or missed opportunity.
• Support development of new data reporting & analysis tools as required from time to time in order to constantly improve vessel performance management.
• Develop knowledge database and provide training/knowledge sharing to relevant stakeholders as required.
• Willing to work with chosen partners such as classification society and machinery makers.
• Lead and implement innovative projects to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Facilitate and ensure one goal approach within team and all stakeholders.

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree from top reputed institutions, preferably in Mechanical/Marine Engineering, with strong understanding of Ship’s On-Board operations.
