Job Description: Chef/Cook
Location: Ngousso, Yaounde
Position Summary
We are looking for a Cook for one of our clients. They will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes especially fast food according to our recipes and standards. You will work as part of a team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintains cleanliness, and delivers delicious food promptly to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and plate meals according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory and ordering.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience, 1-2 years as a Cook, Line Cook, or similar role.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
- Must know how to cook fast food and African dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
