Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our talent acquisition team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, within a professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in drafting and publishing job advertisements on various platforms
• Screen incoming applications and shortlist candidates based on role requirements
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
• Communicate with candidates via email and phone regarding application status
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database
• Support background verification processes and reference checks
• Prepare offer letters and internship agreements
• Assist in onboarding documentation for new hires
• Participate in recruitment meetings and take minutes
• Perform other administrative HR tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
o Human Resource Management
o Business Administration
• Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and French)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills (Optional)
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or job boards
• Basic knowledge of labor laws
• Prior internship or volunteer experience in HR
